A downloadable game for Windows

Exploring the childhood experience of being afraid of what’s lurking in the dark, Lights Out is a moody puzzle game, centered around a child tasked to manage their fear and turn off all the lights before whatever sinister creature that hides in the darkness attacks.

This game was created for our end-of-year project (1st year)! We had a start date of September 27th with 5 weeks of pre-production, followed by 6 weeks of production.

Had a lot of fun with this. Very visually appealing game.

Thank you! We were blessed with some very talented artists :)

Pretty neat game, everything just clicks and it's definitely worth playing.
It's very polished, and the art style is pretty nailed down, seems like a lot of people worked on this project, and such I'm pretty excited to hear more from Psyactive studios (though maybe rename, since Pyschoactive is pretty close and already exists).

4.9/5, Suggest playing.

Best of luck, cheers!

Hey! Thanks for the feedback! For a few of us it actually is the first game we worked on so that really does mean a lot!

In regards to the studio name it's something we decided in our first few meetings, not too much thought went into it - I'm not even sure how logistical it is we will work on another game together (if ever) but a few of us will be on Itch working on other projects ;)
